Inventory Control System Upgrades
Inventory Pro is always getting better! Get the latest upgrades available for your Inventory Pro software right here. Upgrades are user installable at your discretion. Skipping minor releases is suggested unless a release has been recommended by CISS. Find out if upgrading at this time would be beneficial by reviewing the Upgrade Features.
There is no charge for existing clients who have purchased a support contract. If you do not have a support contract with CISS and wish to upgrade, please contact us.
To locate your current system version and build number, go to the Help menu of in your Inventory Pro. The upgrade you select must match your existing version (either 8.1 or 9.1) of InventoryPro.
To upgrade to our new build:
- Close the system on all workstations.
- Backup the Inventory Pro folder (the default Inventory Pro folder is C:\CISSINVP, but check with your IT staff to ensure the proper location of your system files).
- Download the upgrade and unzip the downloaded file into the Inventory Pro folder.
- Start Inventory Pro on your computer. Enter your company name and click next. The tables will reconnect and your data will transfer.
