Understanding Asset Reporting

Asset reports extend Inventory Pro’s tracking capabilities to high-value capital equipment, tools, vehicles, and fixed assets requiring depreciation accounting, maintenance tracking, and custody management.

Asset Tracking provides visibility into equipment location, custodian assignment, and movement history-essential for maintaining accountability and preventing loss of valuable assets.

Depreciation Reporting calculates and tracks asset value decline over time using various methods (straight-line, declining balance, units of production) to support financial reporting and tax compliance.

Asset Lifecycle Management monitors assets from acquisition through disposal, tracking maintenance costs, utilization rates, and total cost of ownership to inform replacement decisions.

Point-in-Time Reporting provides historical snapshots of asset values, locations, and status on specific dates for audit trails, reconciliation, and trend analysis.
